Gov. Tom Kean: Iran Plot 'Pretty Close to an Act of War'

Tom Kean, former chairman of the 9/11 Commission said the alleged Iran terror plot "surprises me." Speaking to CNN's Erin Burnett, Kean said the plot is "pretty close to an act of war. You don’t go in somebody’s capital to blow somebody up.”

Iran's Ambassador to U.N. Calls Terror Plot 'Big Lie'

In an interview with CNN's Erin Burnett, the Iranian Ambassador to the U.N., Mohammad Khazaee, flatly denied his country had any involvement in the terror plot unveiled Tuesday. Khazaee described the accusations as lies created by "war monger" politicians.

Rep. Peter King on Iran Terror Plot: 'Act of War'

In an interview with CNN's Erin Burnett, Rep. Peter King said Iran had crossed a line with its reported involvement in a terror plot on U.S. soil, saying if the plot had been carried out, it would be nothing short of "an act of war."

King, in an interview on Erin Burnett OutFront, said simple sanctions were not enough of a response, urging a strong reaction from the U.S. government.

Marc Klaas on the Baby Lisa Case: 'You Have to Cooperate'
