Is Ron Paul destined to play Jesse Jackson to Mitt Romney's Mike Dukakis?

On CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront, Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons argued Ron Paul may turn out to be playing a role similar to that of Jesse Jackson in the 1988 Democratic campaign: a choice for those who feel resigned to an "inevitable" nominee, but want to register their disapproval.

Marks: 'urinating' Marines in video 'no longer elite'

Former Army Maj. Gen. Spider Marks told CNN's Erin Burnett the men pictured in a video that seems to show U.S. Marines urinating on corpses–perhaps in Afghanistan–may involve one of the Marine Corps' elite sniper units, but the men in the video "are no longer elite. These guys are outside the norm."

U.S. Marines in video may be elite sniper team

Distinctive uniform elements–and the weapons the men carry–may help Pentagon officials to identify the U.S. Marines who appear in a newly released video that seems to show the men urinating on corpses, perhaps in Afghanistan.
