At the top of tonight's Front Lines, Aimee Copeland, the University of West Georgia grad student who is fighting flesh-eating bacteria has now had to have both hands and her remaining foot amputated.
Her leg and some soft tissue from her torso were removed in earlier surgeries.
Andy Copeland, Aimee's father, wrote in a Facebook post published on CNN.com, that when Aimee learned about the surgery, she said "let's do this".
Aimee's ordeal started less than 3 weeks ago when a homemade zip line snapped, causing her to fall and gash her leg.
The wound became infected by a bacteria that caused the Necrotizing Fasciitis.
