Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) says Republicans are sacrificing the American economy in order to help Mitt Romney seize the White House.
"Their goal is to drag down the economy because it is good for their politics." Reid continued, "They believe the more horrible the economy is the better off they are going to be in November."

Erin Burnett should be on the Ridiculist for implying that obstructionism is not a goal of GOP. That has been obvious from the get-go for obvious, although not respectable, reasons. If you look around on the internet you will find plenty of signs that "not hiring until Obama is out of office" is a common goal. And does anybody on CNN mention Obama's jobs plan...that is a hilarious hope that obstructionists would pass it though Obama did pitch it hard as he could. DUH ERIN. In a word? Yes. We all remember how depressed they were in the 1st Quarter, when jobs numbers looked good & the market was rising.
