After tense election, Israel and Washington ready to move on and deal with Iran

A story is developing tonight as CNN learns Iranian fighter jets fired on an unarmed U.S. drone in international airspace last week.

The incident puts new pressure on President Obama to deal with Iran's hostility just a few days after winning a second term. The news also comes as Obama and the Prime Minister of Israel try to repair their relationship after a tense few months.

OutFront tonight is Michael Oren, the Israeli ambassador to the United States.
