Is Iran the real target of Israel's strikes against Gaza?

Our fourth story Outfront – fears of an all-out war.

As fighting between Israel and Hamas intensifies, Israeli defense forces are accusing the terrorist group of turning Gaza into a "frontal base" for Iran.

This raises a legitimate question – could the real target of the Israeli offensive actually be Iran? Outfront tonight is CNN's Fareed Zakaria with his perspective.

Yes, the end is near for both Amanidenajad and Assad. Some people learn the hard way and both of these leaders reign will come to an end in just a matter of months.

With countries under despotic rule, it's rough seeing images of people lynched with construction equipment, but from a layman's POV it doesn't seem like we have much leverage in the situation. If we go in, there's the risk of a Black Hawk Down situation; and if we don't there's the risk of another Rwanda.

Our allies have every right to defend themselves, and I don't mean to sound like a hippie about it, but when you wake up in the morning to see how many kids were killed by the bomb raids of those on our team, it really forces you to call into question what direction civilization is headed in general.
