Poll: Voters want Hillary Clinton to run for president in 2016

A new ABC News Washington Post poll released Wednesday say 57% of all Americans support Hillary Clinton's run for president in 2016. Clinton has said she won't run for president.

Those poll numbers look good, but what are her weaknesses if she runs?

Two new polls suggest support for possible 2nd Clinton WH bid

Run Hillary, run.

That's the message from two new polls about a much talked about hypothetical bid for the White House in 2016 by soon-to-be out going Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Fifty-seven percent of Americans questioned in an ABC News Washington Post poll released Wednesday say they'd back such a run, if Clinton changes her mind and decides to become a presidential candidate again, with 37% saying they'd oppose such a bid.

Clinton has repeatedly said that she intends to retire to private life once her successor as secretary of state is confirmed by the Senate, and she's added that another run for the White House is not in the cards for her.

"Look, I'm flattered. I am honored," she told CNN's Wolf Blitzer this year about calls by other Democrats for her to consider another run in 2016. "That is not in the future for me, but obviously I'm hoping that I'll get to cast my vote for a woman running for president of our country."

I remember Donna Brazile's debut on "Petey Greene's Washington"...

It's really up to the Secretary, but unless they run Peyton Manning for President, it's pretty much a landslide victory.

P.S. Look for us to bag McConnell's seat running Ashley Judd. She may have to cool off the coal talk a bit during the campaign, but there's a race there worth running. For those that doubt that this could work, consider the following:

Arnold Schwarzenegger was the Governor of the State of California.

As Mrs. Brazile said, "Game on."

Post-P.S. You'd get the Liz Warren donors for sure. Two years, they'll be lookin' for a race to put their money into.

I was halfway just running my mouth about the Ashley Judd race in KY, but apparently they did a poll & she's only 4 pts behind. With Cory Booker filing his Senate papers today, looks like the Senate could be a good place for developing some liberal lions...

But two yrs is a long time fr now, so I'm sure the idea of another election cycle is anathema to everyone besides the political junkies & press corps.
