
The National Institutes of Health tells CNN that the flu is now at epidemic levels. The epidemic is already spreading across 41 states.
This year's flu season came sooner than expected, and already, the case are more severe. The CDC says flu has left 2,257 hospitalized with 18 deaths - among them children.
