Feds join civil fraud lawsuit against Lance Armstrong

The Justice Department announced Friday it's joining a lawsuit that accuses Lance Armstrong and former team managers of using taxpayer money to finance doping on the United States Postal Service cycling team.

Feds join whistle-blower lawsuit against Lance Armstrong

The case was filed in 2010 by former teammate Floyd Landis, and claims the team violated the sponsorship agreement by "regularly employing banned substances and method to enhance their performance."
