Paula Deen takes on her critics

Celebrity chef Paula Deen opened up this morning about the racial slur scandal that's threatening to end her career as a celebrity chef.

Speaking with emotion on NBC's Today Show Dean insisted she's only used the N-word once in her life and that was years ago.
Dean also took on her critics - saying she made a mistake.

"If there's anyone out there that has never said something that they wish they could take back, if you're out there please pick up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kills me, I want to meet you,Ii is what I is, and I'm not changing," Deen said.

OutFront tonight: two of the new hosts of CNN's CrossFire which is returning this fall – S.E. Cupp a conservative columnist and commentator and Van Jones a former Obama White House official.
