Chris Christie picks a fight with Rand Paul: Says libertarian views are "dangerous"

Chris Christie picks another fight.

New Jersey's tough-talking governor, Chris Christie, had some choice words for fellow Republican, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

Speaking at a forum Thursday, he suggested the libertarian's views on the government's surveillance program are "dangerous."

Christie: NSA critics should talk to 9/11 families

Christie also said Paul should hear first hand from the families affected by 9/11:

"These esoteric, intellectual debates – I want them to come to New Jersey and sit across from the widows and orphans and have that conversation," Christie said. "And they won't. That's a lot tougher conversation to have."

After that jab, Rand Paul hit back, tweeting this morning:

Notice the spelling of Christie's last name. Perhaps suggesting Christie is a party switcher like Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist who is now an Obama supporter.

But will Christie's jab at a fellow Republican help him should he run in 2016?

All politicians are liars.. The subject is the only thing that determines how bad they lie. Since OBAMA's first term as President all credence r hope for them was lost. This country is in a death sprial and it will be the fault of these lying DEMS and LIBS that are killing our country...

Oh goody, we have a big fat idiot who's ready to continue the thrust of the Bush/Obama agenda ready to become the Republican candidate. Now we just need an Obama wannabe as the Dem candidate and we're officially screwed.

Yeah – because we're in such great shape now. Good thinking. Let's stay the current course of creating more enemies than we are capturing/killing.

I think being ruled by a progressive liberal, authoritarian whose never heard of Subway restaurants is far more dangerous than a Kentucky senator reminding us our government is always stealing our money, property and freedoms.
