Chris Christie picks another fight.
New Jersey's tough-talking governor, Chris Christie, had some choice words for fellow Republican, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.
Speaking at a forum Thursday, he suggested the libertarian's views on the government's surveillance program are "dangerous."
Christie also said Paul should hear first hand from the families affected by 9/11:
"These esoteric, intellectual debates – I want them to come to New Jersey and sit across from the widows and orphans and have that conversation," Christie said. "And they won't. That's a lot tougher conversation to have."
After that jab, Rand Paul hit back, tweeting this morning:
The President and Chris (Crist)ie need to explain to 9/11 victims their support for Islamic militants in Syria
— Rand Paul (@DrRandPaul) July 26, 2013
Notice the spelling of Christie's last name. Perhaps suggesting Christie is a party switcher like Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist who is now an Obama supporter.
But will Christie's jab at a fellow Republican help him should he run in 2016?
