Nyad confronts her critics: We did this in "squeaky-clean, ethical fashion"

Long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad, who swam more than 100 miles from Cuba to Florida , is answering her critics against allegations of cheating.

The 64-year-old has been answering questions from members of the marathon swimmers forum and the international swimming hall of fame who want to know how she managed to go seven-and-a-half hours without eating, and why her average speed doubled during one period of the swim.
