NAACP Leader: Sen. Tim Scott a ventriloquist's "dummy" for Tea Party

An influential leader of the NAACP is comparing Senator Tim Scott, the lone black Republican in the Senate, to a ventriloquist's dummy.

Reverend William Barber, president of the North Carolina NAACP, slammed Scott, saying "The extreme right wing down here finds a black guy to be senator and claims he's the first black senator since Reconstruction and then he goes to Washington, D.C., and articulates the agenda of the tea party."
