Lawmakers criticize Obama administration on prisoner swap

Lawmakers are slamming the Obama administration again today for failing to notify Congress about the decision to trade Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban officials.

OutFront tonight: Republican Congressman Michael McCaul who chairs the Homeland Security Committee.

Erin Burnett also spoke to Democratic Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia about the prisoner swap.

Does anyone actually believe that we just dropped off these 5 terrorist commanders and then gave them a head start to play a fair game of hide and seek??? Of course not! We have been tracking all 5 of them since the second they left our custody. The 5 terrorists we "released" are being tracked by satellites and drones and are leading us to every terrorist stronghold in the region as we speak. Giving these guys back was a great move to strengthen our intelligence and national security interests.
