Iraqi Prime Minister al-Maliki falling out of favor as violence escalates

The White House is losing faith in the one person who is key to solving Iraq's growing crisis.

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki - the long-time time opponent of Saddam Hussein.

He once had the support of both Presidents W. Bush and Barack Obama.

But over the past few weeks, Maliki has quickly fallen out of favor.
