IRS chief under fire for missing emails

A White House lawyer has been subpoenaed over thousands of missing IRS emails. A congressional committee investigating the IRS scandal wants the attorney to appear before a hearing Tuesday.

It's one of several tough hearings on the scandal. The star witness at Monday's hearing is IRS commissioner John Koskinen.

The issue: thousands of missing emails belonging to Lois Lerner –the woman who headed the IRS division that targeted political groups applying for tax-exempt status.

Those emails could determine whether the order to target the tea party and other groups came from inside or outside the agency.
Republicans say the missing emails are further proof the agency is lying.

    They need to arrest Lois Lerner for once and for all and ask her again. Until she tells the truth, she should stay in jail.
