In an interview with CNN's Erin Burnett, Virgin Group chairman Richard Branson says "screwing business as usual should also be re-thinking the way we do business." Branson, who's written a book Screw Business as Usual, argues it's time "to turn capitalism upside down – to shift our values, to switch from a just profit focus, to caring for people, communities and the planet."
Branson tells Burnett companies and governments should do everything in their power to make sure everyone who wants to work has a job–even if that means some people end up working a little less so that their responsibilities can be shared.
You can have my country and turn it into a left wing socialist government , when you pry it from my cold dead fingers. "to turn capitalism upside down – to shift our values, to switch from a just profit focus, to caring for people, communities and the planet." You don't do this by throwing the BABY out with the BATHWATER.. like these OWS freaks.. You do it by GROWING free enterprise , with safeguards for the Nations citizens and National Economy. So that a sell out of the middle class labor market in the name of GLOBALIZATION is considered a CRIME and stopped by the government. Sorry but I am a U.S. taxpaying "LEGAL" citizen BEFORE i am a member of your Global community with UN biased humanistic perspectives. America First , or get the HELL OUT>
Good Interview. When you watch this man -watching you (in this case Erin on the set) you get the very deep feeling of a man whom is clearly (keenly) astute. He seems to stop and look at you (as your talking or pre-ambling towards a question) with some type of, "Well let's just see what this inquiry is going to be about..." Or, "Where is this going?"" -This, before you even get into the dynamics of, 'What you just might ask him.'
Then, to top it all off, he is extremely disarming when he delivers his thoughts, etc., as if it was common knowledge to everyone and he is just reminding us of the facts. Excellent interview for the time allotment -could have been given more time effort, as he seemed quite eager to reflect upon things. Here we see what a 21st century industrialist really looks like, "On and about business, Sir Richard is...."
