Avlon's Political Power Rankings

It has been a wild political week. Fmr. House Speaker, Newt Gingrich surged in political polls, while Former Godfather's Pizza CEO, Herman Cain lost momentum. Cain announced earlier this week he'd speak to his wife about his next steps after an accusation of having a 13-year extramarital affair.

CNN's Contributor John Avlon ranks who's up and who's down in the battle to become the next Republican presidential nominee.
