A statute of limitations for child sexual abuse?

Prosecutors say they will not pursue criminal charges against former Syracuse assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine. A New York district attorney said there were credible allegations of sexual misconduct with minors, but the statute of limitations has expired.

On OutFront, Erin Burnett asked why–considering many victims of child sexual abuse don't typically report the crime for years, often into adulthood–19 states and the District of Columbia have statutes of limitations on sexual abuse.
