Iran claims it 'brought down' U.S. spy drone

In an interview with Erin Burnett, the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations said Iran did not shoot down the U.S. drone recovered in his country, but claimed to have "brought down" the aircraft.

Virginia Tech parent: 'I couldn't believe there was a shooter on campus'

Elizabeth Kosowski got a message from her daughter that the campus of Virginia Tech was on lockdown following a fatal shooting. "I couldn't believe there was a shooter on campus," Kosowski told CNN's Erin Burnett. Kosowski's daughter, whose twin brother is also a student at Virginia Tech, were both unharmed–but it's the second time the family has experienced a lockdown. The Kosowskis' older son was a student at Virginia Tech in 2007, when a gunman shot and killed 33, including himself.
