Jon Huntsman: China is 'not an ally of the United States'

In an interview with CNN's Erin Burnett, Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman–a former U.S. ambassador to China–said that nation's "not an ally" of the United States. "There's a very competitive relationship there."

Monday on OutFront, former U.S. vice president Dick Cheney argued that President Obama failed to act decisively on the downed drone–choosing not to use an air strike or other means to destroy the drone before its anti-radar technology to the Iranians–or the Chinese, even the Russians.

Sen. Rand Paul tells Erin Burnett: 'I like your plan...maybe you should run for office'

On the heels of the House passage of the payroll tax cut plan–complete with provisions that could send the bill right into the crosshairs of a presidential veto–CNN's Erin Burnett outlined a "decent proposal" that could get the payroll tax plan done before Americans face an increase in their taxes. Taking the broad contours of the plan to Sen. Rand Paul, the senator was impressed. "I like your plan...maybe you should run for office."

Paul suggested he'd consider supporting the "decent proposal" Burnett put forth–what do you think?
