The grandfather of Chardon shooting victim Danny Parmertor told CNN's Erin Burnett his grandson "was an angel" who did not deserve to die. "Everybody loved Danny."
I ALSO THOUGHT ERIN'S QUESTION ABOUT WHAT PUNISHMENT DO YOU WANT FOR SHOOTER WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...WHAT WAS SHE THINKING...I ALSO THINK THAT SHE HAS NO REAL FEELING FOR THESE FOLKS,IF SHE DID SHE WOULD NEVER ASK SUCH A DUMB QUESTION...JGBOY
John, I did not see the video or read the story! I read your post and feel a strong connection with it..I'm running on my gut that you are 100% correct..
It was incredibly bad taste for Erin Burnett to ask grieving grandparents what the punishment should be for the boy responsible. My god what insensitivity and stupidity for someone in such a position on television. What did Erin want – to hear someone break down and scream kill the kid? It was an obvious awkward moment and the 2 gentlemen handled this idiotic question with composure and grace.
I couldn't agree more. Erin is not the sensitive person she needs to be for these touchy issues. Her words are there (sometimes) but the feelig isn't there. She doesn't come accross as real. She would be better suited for the Nancy Grace show where everyone says inappropriate things to everyone.
Erin Burnett OutFront airs weeknights at 7 p.m. ET. Designed to showcase Erin's unique style--casual, smart, and confident--OutFront stays ahead of the headlines, delivering a show that's in-depth and informative.
