Rick Santorum's Sugar Daddy is a real "card"

By Erin Burnett

One of our show's bookers, Bob Hand, received an interesting item in the mail last week.

It's a card from American businesman Foster Friess.

You probably remember him as the sugar daddy of Rick Santorum's campaign.

He was on the show a few weeks ago.

On the cover of the card is a photo of Foster and his wife Lynn on a beach with the caption "Smoking Hot Wife!"

It gets stranger inside.

On the inside cover is an ad for Lynn's new book – it's a children's book that Amazon describes as the "story of an inquisitive chipmunk that learns of a mystery at the Museum."

On the other side of the page is a message from the couple and a quote from President John F. Kennedy.

The same John F. Kennedy who made a speech that Rick Santorum said made him want to "throw up."

So, what's the deal?

Is this a Christmas card, an ad for Lynn's book, or a statement of faith?

The answer might be found on the back of the card.

It's a photo of the couple eating a popsicle together. Below that is one line:

"Just Two Big Kids Headed for their 50th Anniversary in August."

50 years?! Can you believe that?

I'm not sure I would want my husband to send out a card like this.

But I hope my fiance and I are this happy when we've been married for 50 years.

Their anniversary is still a few months away.

But let me be the first one to say Happy Anniversary to Foster Friess and his Smoking Hot Wife.

We received that card at my office and I looked through it. As for the "smoking hot wife" line, the card actually referred the recipient to view the YouTube video of a reverend saying the same thing during his NASCAR pre-race invocation (which was actually a reference to "Talladega Nights"). Anyway, I think it's great that they've been married for fifty years and are still happy and love. Good for them!

Why is this on TV? Foster has a list of people who he sends Christmas cards to each year and annual cards to update his friends and family on his life. Obviously the person who received this card didn't fall into either the friend or family category since they used the opportunity to blast him on TV. Hopefully he will be removed from the list for making a TV clip over a card extended in good faith.

No surprise about him being a Santorum sugar daddy and a nascar fan. Total NEO conservative pretending to be right wing while wanting to control what people do in their bedrooms. it's downright awful!

I won't say if she's smoking hot, but I will say that he's smoking pot...

So...the wife's name is Lynn. Why do you have it as Linda splattered across the video?
