The Number: How corrupt is your state?

An 18-month investigation conducted by the nonprofit groups Center for Public Integrity, Global Integrity and Public Radio International has determined your state's risk of corruption.

You can find a detailed look at the accountability of all 50 states here.

What grade did your state receive? Do you agree with your state's rank? What should government do to eliminate corruption?

I heard this segment and was disapointed by the comment about New Jersey. The presenter said that she could not believe that New Jersey came out as the least corrupt state, saying something like "Come on, the state that gave us "The Sopranos". Does she know that "The Sopranos", excellent as it may be, is a work of fiction??

Baltimore City is very bad. I suppose the rest of the state is, but my experience is with Baltimore City and I am astounded.

The story I read about this study said it graded laws in a state regarding corruption. Not the actual corruption of the state.

I would say Texas is at least 90% corrupt, on most honest days.

So...I'm from New Jerksey and don't understand how the state where you get "jerked" scored so well in this poll. Just try to get your car fixed in that state or buy a pound of baloney at a deli.

Leave it to Erin Burnett and CNN to play the race card on the shooting death of this 17 year old black boy. Yep if it would of been a white kid getting shot by a Mexican or Black we never would of heard a peep out of you hypocrites.
