New Details in Trayvon Martin case: Teen's girlfriend disputes self-defense claim

Was it self-defense or murder in "cold blood?" the family of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin says it was murder and there is new evidence that may help prove their case.  Martin's girlfriend told ABC's Good Morning America she was on the phone with Trayvon when he encountered 28-year-old George Zimmerman, a volunteer night watchman, on February 26th.

"He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. Trayvon said what are you following me for? Then the man said what are you doing around here?" Martin's girlfriend added, "Then somebody pushed Trayvon caused the headset just fell."

The phone line went dead seconds later, but a Martin family attorney says the girlfriend blows away any claim of self-defense.
Zimmerman, has not been charged and the case, which has sparked claims of racial profiling is now being investigated by the Department of Justice and the FBI as a possible hate crime.

CNN's Erin Burnett talks to a criminal defense attorney and civil rights lawyer Midwin Charles about new details in the Trayvon Martin case.

Can't believe armstrong williams (aka-uncleT0m) has the audacity to attack Black People by trying to campare the ruthless murder of Travon Martin, to OJ Simpson being found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Ironically, the unclet0m Williams, most caucasians (not all), and hispanics ares calling for a jury of zimmermans peers to decide his guilt. The unclet0m only brought up the OJ case in order to cast a disparaging light upon Black People. Unclet0ms like armstrong williams, are who the mostly caucasian (not all) racist majority call upon as they're mouthpiece, to make racist insults on the character of Black People. If anything, the OJ Simpson case shows how a Black Person accused of a crime is immediately, if not sooner, arrested, and a caucasian-hispanic-jew (or whatever he's calling himself these day's) would never have been arrested if not for the media attention provided by Black People, Caucasian People, Hispanic People, Asian People, Native American People, and Indian (fm India) People protesting his murder and the incompetence of the Sanford, FL police department. In addition, the added pressure put on the government to step in due to the racist nature of the Sanford, Florida police department by allowing a murderer to go free by misusing a "stand your ground" law, and allowing zimmermans parent's to use they're influence as former, and current court workers.
This case didn't divide America. Most Caucasians(certainly not all), with they're "Lets Demonize a Black Person Every Chance We Get" mentality, has done that long ago. Recruiting boot-lick unclet0ms like armstrong williams, who most Black People liken to Willie Lynch and is NOT a credible representative of the Black Community. Williams is mad because NO Black Person respects him, nor do they wish to speak with him on any issue, because his views are perverted by his self-hatred. Williams hates his own big lips, dark-skin, etc... He hates all thing associated with being Black. He's an easy stool-pigeon for racist caucasians to use, plus he makes it so easy.

In all witness reports, the guy on top is wearing what looks like a white t-shirt. Trayvon Martin was wearing a hoodie. Notice the t-shirt under Zimmerman's jacket? Some people want so bad for this guy to be innocent of murder that they throw all common sense and evidence out the window. I heard TWO gunshots in 1 call. Which means Zimmerman was intentionally trying to kill this boy! Doesn't matter now. Both lives lost in this one. If they don't send him to prison, he'll never be safe to "go to the grocery store" again, anyway.

Trayvon assaulted guy and was killed for aggresive behavior; if you are ready to break someone's nose and smash his head in the ground you should be prepared for death as a response

re the Trayvon Martin situation. I believe it is impossible to claim "self-defense" if you get out of your vehicle & chase down a person. Florida Law notwithstanding, Stand Your Ground must refer to the person who got shot being the person who goes after someone who shoots him. I have not heard anyone in media mention this impossible defense.
