Toobin: health care law in 'grave, grave trouble'

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who attended oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday, emerged to report President Obama's health care law seemed "in grave, grave trouble." Toobin, who described tough questioning from conservative justices–and ineffective responses from the government's lawer–said the votes might not be present to find the law Constitutional.

Toobin joins Erin Burnett for complete analysis of the day in Washington tonight at 7 p.m. ET on CNN.

If the mandate for health insurance gets overturned...does that mean that the mandate that requires auto insurance can also be overturned...hmmm

Obamacare. As a Canadian, I find it amazing that the US people are angry about this. In Canada we do NOT lose our homes or are refused any medical treatment that is warranted–so why is it that American don't want the same kind of security that we have? Also, is it not required by law for Americans to have car insurance? And if so, how does this differ from what is on the table with regards to medical care?

I totally agree with the Canadian person. i think this is more a political decision than anything else. Wheather it is a good plan or not... The opposition will always find a way to veto a great make sense deal for most Americans. Why don't make the health insurace affordable and mandatory? Would not be a good thing not to get scared everytime you have to go the Dr's office or hospital because you have no insurance and do not know what to expect.. ? Yes the bill.. Will this ruin our current health infrastructure?.. No way.. This is a political and smart way to say no to a possible good and essential law for all of us. By the way i have no insurance .. I will love to.. But premiums are extremely sky high and out of my range...

I am a Doctor in Nutrition and Health Sciences. I just published on the Internet a new book "Life is a Tragedy of Nutrition in USA" Obama care is not health care, it is medical care. It si a system that will bankrupt the country because of the abuses and fraudes. The only we can fix this problem is to adopt Israel medical insurance only in cases of accidents and emergencies, and health insurance that provide organic, fresh and healthy foods to the people.

had a bit of a crush on Erin.... Until I read more about her. Her appeal is partially her attractiveness but more so her well spoken and intelligent demeanor. Now she seems to be more shallow and the genuine appearance is just for good tv. Women sometimes choose their favorite male anchors for similar reasons. But what I read about her really killed the experience of watching her show.
