A lawyer for the family of Trayvon Martin, Natalie Jackson, says "the evidence is out there," and George Zimmerman will be arrested and forced to explain the shooting death of the unarmed teenager.
On Monday, a special prosecutor for the state attorney, Angela Corey, said a grand jury would not be used in the case. "The decision should not be considered a factor in the final determination of the case," Corey said in a statement.
Former Maine governor Angus King says he was motivated to run for U.S. Senate by the exit of Sen. Olympia Snowe, who said partisanship in Washington meant she couldn't get anything done. King, an Independent who has yet to say which party he would caucus with if elected to the Senate, hopes a moderate voice will make a difference. "We've got to try something different," King told OutFront's John Avlon. "We cannot continue to go down the road where it's all about partisan warfare...we've got to try something else, and that's why I'm going for it."
