Flesh-eating bacteria victim 'courageous'

A California pastor became the first known death from a rare bacterial infection, necrotizing fasciitiis or what it's commonly know as "flesh-eating bacteria."

Pastor Linda Synder of United Methodist Church dies on Tuesday, the same day 24-year-old Aimee Copeland reach another milestone in her battle with the disease. Doctors upgrade Copeland's status from critical to serious condition.

Callan on Sandusky's defense: His testimony would be the 'ultimate Hail Mary pass'

In the fourth day of the Jerry Sandusky trial, three victims testified about the alleged sex abuse my the former Penn State football coach. The trial judge told jurors that he expected the prosecution to conclude its case Thursday afternoon, but it didn't happen.

Trial will resume on Monday.

Raising money behind closed doors: Obama's Hollywood ATM

Pres. Barack Obama attended today two major celebrity fundraisers in New York. Obama has had 19 celebrity fundraisers this year and raised $51 million.

CNN's Erin Burnett notes that Obama is never seen at the fundraisers hosted by famous individuals, i.e. actors, and directors. He is not conducting any photo-ops bragging about his Hollywood support.
