"Armed and dangerous": Nationwide manhunt for NY Surgeon

A doctor with a military background is on the run from police following the death of his ex-girlfriend.

Dr. Timothy Jorden is wanted in connection with the death of 33-year-old Jackie Wisniewski, who was shot to death at the Erie County Medical Center on Wednesday morning.

Jorden, spent 18 years in the military and is being pursued by local, state and federal authorities according to Buffalo Police Commissioner, Daniel Derenda.

"This was a targeted incident that took place, it was not a random act but again he should be considered armed and dangerous at this point, " said
Derenda.
