At 7p ET: Special Coverage of RNC convention and latest on Tropical Storm Isaac

CNN's Erin Burnett is live tonight covering the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL. Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus gaveled the convention to order Monday and sent the convention to recess until Tuesday afternoon due to the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac.

The RNC Chair did not let a threat of a storm derail the GOP's plan to attack the Obama administration's economic policy. Priebus unveiled two national debt clocks, one showing the increasing national debt, and the other displaying the debt accrued during the convention.

"This clock reminds every delegate and every American why we are here in Tampa – because America can and must do better,” Priebus said in a statement in advance of the unveiling. “Every American’s share of the national debt has increased by approximately $16,000 during the current administration.”

Tune to Erin Burnett on CNN starting at 7p ET for the latest on the Republican National Convention and the latest on Tropical Storm Isaac.
