Israeli sources tell our Wolf Blitzer that at least for now the White House has rejected a request from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet with President Barack Obama this month. The Israeli leader wanted to discuss Iran's disputed nuclear program while he's attending a meeting at the U.N.
Netanyahu, meanwhile, is growing increasingly frustrated with the U.S. for not drawing a so-called "red line" when it comes to Iran's nuclear program, saying the U.S. has no "moral right" to restrain Israel from taking military action of its own.

When did the US become a satellite of Israel? When did it become OK for PM Netanyahu to shoot his mouth and criticize the US publicly, as he has done repeatedly? When did it become OK for Senators McCain & Graham to be disloyal to their own country and take sides with Israel, when Netanyahu has behaved disgracefully? Do they expect our President to overlook Bibi's insulting and disrespectful actions?
As a leader of a country which receives billions of dollars of US aid, and as the country the US defends very often to the detriment of its own interests, Bibi Netanyahu should be showing respect to our President. Other leaders in Israel have commented on Bibi's lack of respect in their press. I didn't hear CNN reporting that.
I find it offensive, that CNN's narrative is that the White House is insulting Israel, our closest ally, by not agreeing to a meeting between our President and the PM.
Israel at the moment is not behaving like a close ally at all. They are behaving like an antagonist and demanding a meeting as a reward for that behavior. Don't forget the last time they met, Bibi thought he should lecture our President about the history of Israel. The President has been extremely patient and has every right to be fed up with Bibi Netanyahu. At the very least, Bibi should be made to realize that there are consequences to his actions.
It's also time for our own politicians to show their allegiance to the United States, before they go around shooting their mouths off because they dislike out President and want to play election year politics. If Mitt Romney wins the election, Senator McCain and who ever else who's on his bandwagon can advise Mr Romney to jump up and salute Mr Netanyahu at every turn.
As of now, the current Head of State, President Obama, should be allowed to conduct our foreign policy the way he sees fit. We elected him to do that job, and rejected Senator McCain.
