Anti-jihad ad to appear in NYC subways: "I will not sacrifice my speech so as to not offend savages," says Geller

As the anti-American protests spread through the Muslim world, an anti-Muslim ad is appearing in the United States and will be in New York City next week.

The ad says, "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad." Behind the ad is Anti-Muslim blogger and noted 'birther' Pamela Geller.

OutFront tonight: Pamela Geller, executive director of American Freedom Defense Initiative.

The Standard made an important point: America has been weakened due to our recent policies of current administration. Israel and the middle east namely the Emirati, Saudi and Kuwaiti are "good neighbors". Our real threat is a nuclear Iran – instead of insulting each other with silly posters, we need to take a broader look at what is happening world wide!!

i dont know what this ad is supposed to accomplish, .i believe in freedom of speech but this is pure bigotry and hatred. i cannot believe that this should be consider freedom of speech, this is not some one standing up for what they believe in this isa persn no better than any other hate group, spreading fear, and hatred . if we took the time to get to know each other of all color, race, religion imagine what we would learn. this ad should not be allowed.

Thank you Erin. I am getting quite tired of people feeling that they can bully others through "free speech", and are not responsible for how the bullied react. Nice to see someone held accountable.

Bravo Erin! Fantastic interview with Pamela Geller, you were so calm, but didn't back down.
I have contacted numerous representatives offices today to stop the posters from going up,
all claim they know nothing about it.
Peter King is on the Homeland Security Committee, how can his office be ignorant of this!
Thank you very much for your bringing this to our attention.

I adore Erin Burnett. This woman Pamela Geller is delusional and is not a solution to the problem. It irritates me when ppl use the 1st Amendment to spread propaganda and hate. Stope hiding behind your right to free speech to be ignorant.
