The intelligence and political communities in the United States continue to react to the resignation of CIA Director David Petraeus over a reported extramarital affair.
The four star general and architect of the war in Iraq submitted a resignation letter to President Obama in which he admitted the affair. He writes:
"After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours."
