"It's the 800-pound gorilla in the room," Amazon takes aim at traditional retailers

The latest jobs numbers is providing some needed good news for the holidays, with many retailers continuing to add seasonal workers.

But here's the rub, there is a monster competitor, that is threatening  to devour a massive number of those retailers - Amazon.com. Online shopping continues to explode under Amazon - with its sales growing from 20% to 30% a year.
