Oscar snubs Bigelow, Affleck for best director
No best director nod for 'zero dark thirty's' Kathryn Bigelow. Her thriller about the hunt for Osama bin Laden was considered a shoe-in among critics.
But the movie has been a target of criticism - mostly from Washington lawmakers. Did politics doom her Oscar chances?
