Is the Tea Party Dead?

Is it curtains for the Tea Party? It's been a rough few months - down in public opinion polls, losing a battle over the fiscal cliff.

And now one Tea Party leader admitting to Politico:

"There's not enough money."

Outfront tonight: Erick Erickson, editor of the conservative blog Redstate.com. He's an influential Republican who says the Tea Party is in "disarray" and Amy Kremer – Chairwoman of Tea Party Express.

Karl Rove wasn't much help, but most likely at the heart of the matter is we can see how Republicans treat other Republicans. Gov Romney & President Bush 43 are treated like Lord Voldemort– "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" or something. In fact, the only Pres they seem to hold in reverence is Reagan, with whom they display a great deal of revisionist history, when you look at 40's record.

(SNL did a great cold-open a couple weeks ago about Obama, Boehner, and the fiscal cliff that encapsulated it perfectly.)
