    One thing is for sure, We all know who Darth Vader was. And he's still out there free as a bird, but god will punish him when he gets to the other side, whereever that is.

    ... I can't even begin to explain the difference btwn Star Wars & Star Trek, or the ways in which Lucas's vision is superior to Roddenberry's. But yes, Boba Fett would be an Independent, that much is clear.
