Civil war in the GOP: "We'll be a stronger Republican party going forward," says McDonnell

Between Donald Trump calling Karl Rove a "total loser" and the dueling Republican responses to the President's State of the Union address tomorrow night, what's really going on in the GOP?

Senator Rand Paul, who's giving tomorrow's tea party response, told CNN's State of the Union Host Candy Crowley why the Tea Party is offering an additional GOP rebuttal to Obama's State of the Union address.

"There is a lot of energy that still comes from the Tea Party, and while they consider themselves mostly to be Republican, they will occasionally chastise even the Republican establishment. So they want an independent voice," Paul said.

OutFront Tonight: Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell.
