Yes. I believe that Pope Francis will lead the Church in a new direction. But I also believe that people in the media (like Erin) can "take back" the Catholic name and "restore" the Church's image.

However, I'm aware that it is so much easier to appease the secularists and atheists and the can't we all just get along ists. Is Marky Mark the only Catholic on television with a lot of balls?

I am not against g a y s. I do not defend criminals. I do not attack abortion clinics. I donate my time and money to the less fortunate. I pay my taxes. I care for my family. I am a hipster, although there is a growing number of hipsters at my parish. I sometimes drive an Audi, but I usually take public transportation. I drink black coffee. I know where to get the best super veggie burrito. I lost my way once, but I returned home: I'm a Catholic and I'm proud to be one.

Don't really know much about Erin Burnett whatever she's said on TV, her affinity for camels, and the fact she responded to a comment I made a while back about how beef oughta be grass fed. But based on her shout-out to the "Reformed Broker" blog on Monday, she seems like a real sweetheart.
