Hopes for Young Pope Dashed

There's a new Pope. But is it the pope the world's Catholics were waiting for?

Catholics across the country and around the world were hoping for a younger Pope. And yet, newly installed Pope Francis is only nine years younger than his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI.

So what gives? And what does one emotional member of the cardinal class and House Speaker John Boehner have in common?

OutFront’s Web Extra has the entire holy scoop.

This was the most useless peace of journalism I have ever watched. Christopher Moloney, Leinz Vales, and Fahiemah Al-Ali probably need to find a new line of work.

PaddyPower.com seems great and all, but I'm kind of bummed that InTrade got shut down. It was especially useful during election season; I remember there was a Univ of Iowa-Tippie School of Biz study that showed that markets were a better indication of voter inclinations than polls. I bet it was the political pollsters that did it, just like the record co's tried to do to Napster.
