Head of Colorado Department of Corrections shot dead in mysterious attack

Our fourth story OutFront – murdered in cold blood.

A manhunt is under way in Colorado tonight for the person who killed Tom Clements, the executive director of the state Department of Corrections.

Clements was shot last night as he opened the door to his Monument home, which is about 50 miles south of Denver. Investigators have not identified a suspect or a motive, but are looking into whether it was a random shooting or related to his high-profile job.
