The Number: President's limo breaks down abroad

President Obama's Israeli trip hit a speed bump today when the armored limousine supposed to drive him from the airport broke down.

The car nicknamed "The Beast" had been shipped from Washington to Israel and it had to be towed to Jerusalem when it wouldn't start.

The President had yet to arrive in Israel when the malfunction occurred, fueling speculation about what the Secret Service was doing – after all, the president's car is sort of crucial to the pomp, circumstance and logistics of a President's foreign visit.

Which brings us to tonight's number: 6.5 liters

That is the reported size of what some say is a diesel engine in The Beast. Why is that important? Well, a source in the Israeli government told CNN today that the driver of President Obama's limo put gasoline instead of diesel into the tank and that's the reason why it wouldn't start.

A Secret Service rep says it was a mechanical problem, but the Israeli source stands by their original statement.

If it's true, then the President's driver, the man in charge of his life, doesn't seem to know what fuel his car takes.  At least, we can hope, he knew what side of the car the gas tank was on.
