Obama pushes gun control, says 'shame on us' if no new laws after Newtown

More than 100 days after the massacre at Newtown and so far, no new gun control legislation has passed through Congress.

Today President Obama surrounded by the mothers of shooting victims from the White House voiced his frustration.

"I haven't forgotten those kids. Shame on us if we've forgotten," Obama said.

But is the shame on President Obama for not acting quickly enough?

    No new gun laws because you are trying to pass the wrong laws. Shame on you all for blaming innocent non-violent gun owners for this tragedy. You should be instead passing safe storage laws and giving people free gun safes and free trigger locks. Gun control begins at home.
