Fmr. Rutgers official gets $1.2 million after Rice fallout

Former Rutger's athletic director Tim Pernetti, who resigned after a video released by ESPN went viral, showing former coach Mike Rice shoving players and berating them with anti-gay slurs - will get a golden parachute.

Christie fires off on Rutgers ex-coach

Pernetti who suspended Rice last December, will according to his settlement agreement get:

  • $1.2 million in salary
  • Car allowance
  • More than two years of health insurance.
  • iPad and a laptop
