Widow of ambushed Kentucky police officer: ‘Daddy is not coming back’

A Kentucky police officer is ambushed and murdered. Now, his widow is speaking out.

Officer Jason Ellis was repeatedly shot after stopping to remove debris from the road over the weekend.

Teen behind alleged bomb plot charged; Mother's attorney says he is mentally ill

Accused bombe,r 17-year-old Grant Acord made his first appearance in court Tuesday.

According to prosecutors, Acord wanted to outfo the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School that left 15 people dead.

Court records detail his plan to use a stash of homemade explosives including napalm, pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails. The target was Acord's high school in Albany, Oregon.

Arizona mom accused of smuggling pot held in Mexico

An Arizona Mom being held in Mexico claims she's been framed.

Yanira Maldonado is in a Mexican jail tonight accused of trying to smuggle more than 12 pounds of marijuana back into the United States.

But her family says it's all a big mistake, and the pot found under her seat on a commercial bus wasn't theirs.

Judge bars defense from introducing Martin's history with guns, pot

A Florida judge overseeing the case against the neighborhood watchman is barring the defense from introducing information about Trayvon Martin at trial, including what appears to be a familiarity with guns, his previous marijuana use and his history of fighting.

Setback for defense in Zimmerman trial

Zimmerman is accused of murdering the 17 year-old in February 2012, and planned on using the information to back up his claims of self-defense.
