Putin announces divorce
After years of speculation about their marriage, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his wife, Lyudmila, announced on state-run television that they are divorcing.
Putin announces split: 'We have different lives'
Lyudmila Putin described it as a "civilized divorce." The couple has two adult children.
