Jury selection begins in George Zimmerman trial

George Zimmerman came face-to-face with the potential jurors who could decide whether he'll go to prison for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

For much of the day lawyers from both sides began the arduous task of narrowing down a pool of 500 potential jurors to just half a dozen with two alternates.

The potential panelists had to answer a questionnaire that is believed to have focused on race and what they had heard about the case.
