Taliban talks over swapping U.S. soldier with gitmo prisoners

Does the U.S. negotiate with terrorists?

The Taliban in Afghanistan is offering to exchange the only known U.S. prisoner of war - Seargant Bowe Bergdahl for five detainees at Guantanamo Bay prison.

Previous talks about a possible exchange stalled back in 2012.

The Taliban is classified by the U.S. as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Entity. And many U.S. officials also say that peace talks between the U.S. and the Taliban will likely be held "in the next few days."

Will President Obama make a deal?
