Judge orders Ariel Castro to undergo mental evaluation

A psychiatric evaluation has been ordered for accused kidnapper Ariel Castro.

As the defendant sat in court, judge Michael Russo said he was exercising caution to make sure Castro was competent to stand trial. The 52-year-old  has pleaded, "not guilty" to over 300 counts, which include rape and kidnapping.

As well as two counts of aggravated murder, for forcibly terminating the pregnancies of at least one of the three women held  captive in his home for over a decade.
