At a time when the military as a whole is getting smaller - the number of four and five star generals has continued to grow.
According to Washington based think-tank Third Way's report "Star Creep: The Costs of a Top-Heavy Military", the five-star lifestyle that comes along with being a high ranking general is costing tax payers a lot of money.

Rachel Jeantel - the star witness in the murder trial of George Zimmerman has found herself at the center of discussion about the language and attitudes of black youths after her testimony this week.
Christina Coleman from Global Grind wrote in an Op-ed that blacks understand and can relate to Jeantel but quote:
Any attorney, jury member, judge or white person in that courtroom is not going to understand Rachel Jeantel. And I don't expect them to... She's hard. She's black. And your assumptions about her background and lack of education make you feel like you are better, somehow.
But is that really fair to say?

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez was denied bail for the second time Thursday, after being charged with the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, an acquaintance who was found shot to death on June 17th.
But this is not the first Brush with the law for Hernandez, who is now being linked to a double homicide that happened in Boston last year.
A string of misconduct during his time at the University of Florida led several NFL teams to pass him over in the 2010 Draft, until he was finally picked up by the New England Patriots.
